Instacoach is designed for children, teens and young adults who are struggling with a number of different topics. Therapy for children or young people can be helpful when they are feeling low, anxious, lacking in confidence, angry or are experiencing problems at school or with friendships. As an experienced, qualified therapist I will provide professional support for your child or young person and help to get them back on track and live their life to the fullest.

Hi! I’m Stacie Lovitt!
Owner & Founder of Instacoach!
Welcome to Instacoach! My name is Stacie and I am here to help your child or teen through a difficult period in their life. Throughout our sessions together, I am here to help your child learn the necessary skills and tools to help build their confidence and adolescent development.
Therapy/coaching sessions at Instacoach will help empower your child to become the person they want to be. Every child is unique and so is my approach to therapy. I don’t follow a template or a one size fits all approach. Through consistent therapy sessions, I assess where the work needs to start to help your child and I work together towards achieving their goals.
If you are looking for a kind, understanding approach for your child whatever the issues are, you have arrived at the right place!
Whether you have had therapy sessions with me before, or you are entirely new to Instacoach, rest assured that I always have your child’s best interests at heart and we can pave a way forwards together to start their journey towards happiness and fulfilment today!

What #Instacoach specialises in.
Take a look below at the broad range of topics and sensitive issues we cover that children and teens face at some point during their adolescence.

Motivation
We provide your child with special strategies to ensure they stay motivated. Motivation is a state that energises, directs and sustains behaviour and is a key component to success.

Self Sabotage
Self-sabotage refers to beliefs and behaviours that prevent us from achieving our goals, hopes, and dreams. It is a very normal part of the human experience, something we all do from time to time—often without fully realising we’re doing it. Fortunately, knowing the types of self-sabotage, where it comes from, and some helpful tips to neutralise it can help your child overcome a fierce inner critic.

Social Anxiety
When children have social anxiety, they worry about or fear situations that involve interacting with other people. Social anxiety can stop children from joining and enjoying classroom discussions, parties and friendship groups. We help children learn to manage social situations by giving them chances to practise interactions and praising their efforts.

Anger
Anger is a normal, healthy emotion. But many kids struggle to understand the difference between angry feelings and aggressive behaviour. Frustration and anger can quickly turn into defiance, disrespect, aggression, and temper tantrums when kids don’t know how to deal with their emotions.

Failure to Launch
Failure to launch syndrome is not a true diagnosis, but rather is a common way to describe a young adult who is struggling with the transition to adulthood. It can be defined as an inability to leave home and support oneself, regardless of the underlying cause. Young adults struggling with failure to launch (or failure to thrive) may appear to be “stuck” or not maturing in an age-appropriate way. Our coaching and therapy sessions will help them get on the right track.

Stress & Anxiety
Anxiety, to some extent, is a normal emotional state, but if you’ve noticed your child has been experiencing anxiety symptoms for an extended period of time, it may be time to seek professional help. With the right treatment and support, your child can learn new coping mechanisms to help them manage their symptoms.

ADHD
Behaviour therapy is an effective treatment for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) that can improve a child’s behaviour, self-control, and self-esteem. It is most effective in young children.

Suicide & Self Harm
So many young people around the UK are struggling to deal with thoughts of suicide and self-harm. If your child is self-harming, or you’re concerned they might be, it can be incredibly worrying and upsetting for you as their parent. The important thing to remember is that you and your child are not alone – lots of young people go through this and come out the other side with different ways of coping with their feelings.

Happy Children = Happy Parents.
Here are a few of the latest testimonials I have received from parents whose children I have worked closely with over a number of sessions covering a broad range of topics.
I was recommended Stacie via a friend, I contacted her after the doctor showed little to no support towards my 10 year olds depression/ anxiety. He always struggled to talk to us and bottled a lot up. Since being with Stacie we’ve seen a massive improvement and he’ll talk to us and openly tell us anything that’s on his mind. She also helped him through his SATs stress and worries. We’re so pleased to see our boy back to his bright and bubbly self.
Thank you so much for the work you have done, Stacie.

Stacie was recommended to me by another parent after I’d told her my son was struggling with his emotions. Recently going through a family break up my son found it difficult to cope with the changes and emotions that came with this. After an initial telephone conversation with Stacie I knew that she was the lady to help. He saw Stacie once a week to start with and I instantly saw a difference. He started to turn negatives into positives and he has developed strategies to deal with his emotions. He is now happy to talk about how he feels with me which is a massive step. I could not recommend Stacie enough the impact she has had is incredible. Thank you so much

Parents! We understand the struggle you and your family are facing and Instacoach is here to help.
Counselling and therapy (sometimes called ‘psychotherapy’) are both types of talking therapy that involve talking about – or exploring through art and other creative materials – feelings, thoughts and experiences. This can help your child to make sense of what’s going on in their life and find ways of coping when things are difficult.
If your child is struggling, it can be really difficult and worrying as a parent – and it might feel like a big step to decide to reach out to a counsellor or therapist. Parents tell us that when they were in this situation, they worried about whether they had done something wrong, or whether their child’s counsellor or therapist would blame them. In fact, lots of children and young people go to counselling or therapy at some point, and for all sorts of reasons – and a counsellor or therapist should work with you supportively to think about what’s going on and how you can make things better.
